Bethany is an associate professor in Northern Illinois University's Management department. Her research interests relate to identity, work-related transitions, and stress experienced by individuals and teams, especially considering the changing work world. She provides training and consultation on topics such as negotiations, leadership, and work engagement.

I love spending time with my family, including my dogs Paxton and Lucy. We especially like going up to Lake Michigan for hiking, swimming, and enjoying the beautiful views. I also enjoy horseback riding and all distances of triathlons, from sprints to (one) full Ironman.
